The Western PA Beekeeping Seminar is back for 2027!!

We are once again excited to offer a wide range of informative speakers and vendors for all of your beekeeping needsThis is one of the largest beekeeping seminars in the state that you do not want to miss!

The 2027 event will be on Friday, February 5th and 6th, 2027 and will be held at a new location, Westminster College, in New Wilmington, PA!

We are excited to announce two confirmed speakers for the 2027 Western Pennsylvania Beekeeping Seminar: Dr. Frank Rinkevich of the USDA and Ross Conrad. Click the Speaker Bios button below to learn more about each of them.

In addition to securing an outstanding lineup of speakers, we're thrilled to introduce something new for 2027—a Honey Show!

Our newly formed Honey Show Committee is hard at work developing this exciting addition to the seminar. The competition will be judged using the American Honey Judges Association (AHJA) standards, giving participants the opportunity to have their entries evaluated using nationally recognized criteria.

As additional details become available—including entry requirements, categories, and deadlines—we'll update the seminar website so interested participants have everything they need to take part.

Stay tuned—there's much more to come!
